The attached PDFs show possible artwork locations. The South Hall locations are open now, and the North Hall locations will be open after the renovation is finished. The Arts Board reviewed the South Hall locations in Dec. 2019. They are in and outside the lobby. The North Hall locations are in the lobby by the entrance and near the river overlook. The La Crosse Center (LCC) Board does not have any specific guidelines, but they want to have approval of any artwork plans. The Center doesn’t have any additional funding to support the artwork. Staff recommends a subcommittee of individuals meet in July to create an RFQ for an initial piece for the South Hall. The draft could be reviewed by the Arts Board and would need final approval by the La Crosse Center Board before being released. That final RFQ can be used as a starting point for RFQs for up to two more pieces in the North Hall locations.
