Good afternoon,  I am being asked to give a summary of large item pick up this year.  I would like an 
evaluation from you and your staff as you are the front line for college rentals.  I am looking for 
feedback and suggestions, not complaining and blaming.  I am asking you over other property 
management companies and rental owners because we have communications and my experience with 
you have been mostly positive and have the mass move out of your properties at one time.  I believe we 
can work together to make student move out work with our city wide large item pick up at the same 
time.  
 
1.	Time frame: 
       good or bad?  
       Suggestions based on what you saw and your experience with student move out. 
       Do we need to move to a week later? Two weeks later?
        
2.	City serviced residents: 
Allowed materials?
              Collection point?
                Number of items accepted?
                Suggestions?
 
3.	Non City serviced properties? – 
Allowed materials?
Collection point?
Number of items accepted?- there will not be a higher number of items allowed due to being 
apartments.  Collection is based on tax parcel, not single or multi-family properties.  
Suggestions?
 
4.	Mattress recycling:
Problems?
Suggestions?
 
I will take any feedback you can provide for benefit for collection, residents, and the city.  I will take 
criticism as it makes us better and no judgement will be passed onto you.  I don’t play that game??
 
I am not and will no guarantee your ideas and suggestions will be implemented, but I will guarantee they 
will be discussed and considered.  I feel it is important to have as much information as possible when 
someone asks how an event went, the good, the bad and the ugly.  Working together is how we make 
improvements.  
 
I would like to have your feedback, including any support staff  by June 20th so I can prepare to report to 
the Board of Public Works on June 29th.
