Agenda Items:
Application of Gene Wiltgen for a Public Vehicle for Hire Operator License and
appeal of denial by the Police Department.
(Note: The Committee and/or Council may convene in closed session pursuant to Wis.
Stats. sec. 19.85(1)(a) to deliberate its decision. Following any closed session, the
Committee, and/or Council may reconvene in open session.)
Gene Wiltgen was called to speak.
Greg Elsen, representing the Police Department, was called to speak.
Gene Wiltgen was called to speak in rebuttal.
A motion was made by Kahlow, seconded by Mindel, to Convene in CLOSED
SESSION pursuant to Wis. Stats. sec. 19.85(1)(a) to deliberate its decision; the
motion carried unanimously by roll call vote.
A motion was made by Woodard, seconded by Kahlow to Reconvene in OPEN
SESSION; the motion carried unanimously.
A motion was made by Trost, seconded by Richmond, that the Application be
RECOMMENDED RESOLUTION DENYING THE SAME to the Common Council on
2/9/2023. The motion failed by the following vote:
