A motion was made by Janssen, seconded by McKenney The motion carried
on voice vote.
Agenda Items:
TIF discussion/presentation regarding River Point District by Blair Williams of
WiRED Properties
Childcare/ARPA project update
Staff provided update on current happenings: statewide Childcare Summit
held in La Crosse, activities happening on state level, as well as county plans.
Staff referenced the LCF project that City undertook to distribute ARPA dollars
to nonprofits and is looking to potentially use the same approach in addressing
childcare: utilizing an expert entity in the community to facilitate the work in
partnership with the City.
