Van Maren called the meeting to order at 11:30 am.

Approval of Minutes  
Lenard motioned to approve the minutes, Meehan seconded. The motion  
carried by a voice vote.  
Agenda Items:  
Climate Action Plan Adoption & Implementation Timeline

The Judiciary & Administration Committee will hold a public hearing for the Climate  
Action Plan on Tuesday, January 3rd at 6pm. The Common Council will have the final  
vote on Thursday, January 12th. Included in the resolution are implementation steps  
to continue the steering committee, form an internal CAP team, and work with the  
Mayor to develop a first-year implementation plan.  
Resolution adopting the City of La Crosse’s 2022 Climate Action Plan.

The link to the RFP was broken at the time of the meeting, so the consensus was to  
make a decision on January 19th. Proposal selection should take place in April.  
Meehan made a motion to recommend adoption, Lenard seconded. The motion  
carried by a voice vote.

The link in the agenda was broken (and later fixed). Staff will send out RFP for  
discussion at the next meeting.  
Review La Crescent electric vehicle infrastructure requirements.  
Attachments:  
Van Maren suggested mentioning out plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) and  
e-bikes. They are noted in the Madison ordinance. She suggested 50 or even 60  
amp service instead of 40 amp Level 2 charger. Lastly, she suggested including  
vehicle to grid capability, but that may be out the City's hands to regulate.
