A motion was made by Woodard, seconded by Kahlow, to OPEN public  
hearing; the motion carried unanimously.  
The following spoke: Kevin Hundt, Steven Nicolai, LeAnne Martinez, Karla  
Snyder, Laurie Logan, Robert Hansen, Fred Nicklaus, Matt Gundersen,  
Kourtney Grekoff, and James Gaisford.  
A motion was made by Kahlow, seconded by Woodard, to CLOSE public  
hearing; the motion carried unanimously.  
A motion was made by Woodard, seconded by Kahlow that the Ordinance be  
RECOMMENDED TO BE ADOPTED.  
A motion was made by Trost, seconded by Kiel, to AMEND AS PROPOSED. The  
motion carried on a vote of 4 to 3 (No: Kahlow, Woodard, Dickinson).  
A motion was made by Kiel, seconded by Trost, that the Ordinance be  
RECOMMENDED TO BE ADOPTED AS AMENDED to the Common Council on  
7/13/2023. The motion failed by the following vote (and will be referred to the  
Common Council with NO RECOMMENDATION):

for the City of La Crosse increasing membership of the International

the City of La Crosse by transferring certain property from the Local Business  
District to the Multiple Dwelling District allowing for construction of a new  
tri-plex at 1003 Caledonia St.

RECOMMENDED TO BE ADOPTED to the Common Council on 7/13/2023. The
