Resolution in support of the people of Ukraine as they defend against Russia’s
attack.
A motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Woodard to OPEN public
hearing; the motion carried unanimously.
The following spoke: Chuck Hanson, Art Marson, Mark Solyst, Olena Belka,
Lisbeth Reynertson, Oresta Felts, Busya Lugovier
A motion was made by Woodard, seconded by Weaver to CLOSE public
hearing; the motion carried unanimously.
A motion was made by Woodard, seconded by Weaver to ADOPT.
A motion was made by Woodard, seconded by Kahlow to AMEND AS
PROPOSED by Woodard; the motion carried 4 - 1 (No - Mindel; Abstained -
Richmond).
A motion was made by Kahlow, seconded by Mindel to AMEND AS PROPOSED
by Sleznikow; the motion failed on a vote of 2 - 3 (No - Richmond, Weaver,
Woodard; Abstained - Trost).
A motion was made by Woodard, seconded by Weaver, that the Resolution be
RECOMMENDED TO BE ADOPTED AS AMENDED (by Woodard) to the Common
Council on 4/14/2022. The motion carried by the following vote:
