Notices and Discussions  
Larry Sleznikow noted that the Bike and Pedestrian Master Plan will be getting an  
update and shared the many opportunities available for public input.  
Mayor Reynolds noted that he issued a proclamation for White Cane Safety Day, which  
is on October 15th. He also noted that this week is National Fire Prevention week and  
thanked staff members intently involved in Oktoberfest events. He noted a very  
successful Indigenous Peoples Day, an event that has grown over the years and this  
year the first traditional la crosse games in the last 200 years were played. The Mayor  
hosted first annual meeting Northern Grain Belt Ports in La Crosse. He also  
recognized of Doug Farmer for his service on La Crosse Center Board following his  
recent resignation.
