Call to Order
Chair Sleznikow called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.

Approval of Minutes
A motion was made by Weston, seconded by Goggin, that to APPROVE the
minutes of December 3, 2025. The motion carried unanimously.
Agenda Items:
Proposed City Administrator position.
No action taken.
• A short review of the work of the City Administrator Working Group (CAWG) up to this
point including results of the eight public engagement sessions and online survey.
Chair Sleznikow thanked the working group members, past members Mac Kiel &
Mark Neumann, clerk's office, Stephen Matty, Marley Crossland, Rebecca Franzen,
Chad Hawkins, Jacky Greschner, Christine Hardie, Kerry Gloede, Andrea Trane,
department heads that were interviewed, organizations that hosted the group for public
engagement sessions, Daniel Foth, community members attending the engagement
sessions, survey takers, and Dr. James Murray. Chair Sleznikow shared slides that
highlighted the work completed by the working group. Council Member Weston shared
a summary of the results of the survey.
• Opportunity for council member Q&A with CAWG members, City Attorney Matty,
Director of HR Franzen, Director of Finance Hawkins, and Daniel Foth with
UW-Madison Extension.
HR Director Franzen, City Attorney Matty, and Finance Director Hawkins answered
questions.
