The meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm.

Approval of April 1, 2026 Meeting Minutes.  
Agenda Items:  
Discussion on Outdoor Lighting Regulation.

Staff provided an update on the draft ordinance and answered Commission  
questions. Scott Lind also came to the podium to further outline the draft  
ordinance and answer questions.  
Discussion on Love your Block Grant Opportunity.  
Staff provided an overview on what the Love your Block Grant is and what it  
can be used for. Commission Members were supportive of applying for the  
grant and open to different target neighborhoods receiving the funds.  
Neighborhood Updates, Concerns, and Celebrations.

CM Goggin shared that Harry J Olson is starting a solar project. McDonnell  
shared that Washburn did a neighborhood cleanup for Earth Day. Walker  
stated that Lower Northside is continuing to work on their traffic circles.  
Bonadurer shared that WHNA has their ice cream social coming up. Geary  
shared that the northside neighborhoods have their large item pickup program  
in June.  
Future Topics to be Brought Forward/Discussed.

Hurtubise requested getting information regarding past Commission efforts to  
see how many ADUs have been built, where the Short term rental registration  
is, etc.  
Staff suggested a Missing Middle Walking Tour to help Commissioners  
conceptualize possible zoning code changes.
