Council Member Goggin recognized Leslie Gaustad, a retired senior who cared for feral  
cats, and asked that all keep an eye out for those unseen heroes in the community.  
Council President Dickinson noted the ribbon cutting for the mural at the Family and  
Children's Center. Council Member Mindel noted a recent mailing regarding savings  
opportunities for pursuing energy efficiency projects and reminded all that the League  
of Wisconsin Municipalities 56th annual Professional Municipal Clerks Week is May 4  
- 10, 2025. Council Member Janssen recognized Shanneon Grant for her years of work  
at the Library; she will be retiring from the Library Director position at the end of the  
month.
