Bakalars called the meeting to order at 5:27 PM.

Northwood motioned to approve the minutes, Paquette seconded. The motion  
carried by a voice vote.  
New Member Introduction  
Marissa Sutherland introduced herself briefly to the commissioners.

Discrimination Complaint - Gale Hendersen v. Aptiv

Program Operations Director Nate Hundt spoke to APTIV's response letter.  
Henderson responded. Hundt spoke again. Henderson responded.  
To address the issue of jurisdiction that was brought up by the respondent, the  
Commission reviewed the municipal code and determined that this discrimination  
complaint does fall within their jurisdiction. The event happened within the last 180  
days of the first hearing, was against a protected class (disability), and took place in a  
place of public accommodation.  
The Commission pointed to a conflicting statements about policy & procedure  
pertaining to cash deposits and savings account requirements as a reason for further  
review.  
Paquette motioned to go in to closed session, Northwood seconded. The  
motion carried by a voice vote.  
The commission reconvened in open session.  
Bakalars stated that the Commission determined that probable cause exists to  
believe discrimination in violation of this article has been committed and it will  
designate an independent hearing examiner.  
Adjournment  
Bakalars adjourned the meeting at 6:35 PM.
