significant to early detached garages it is not original to the house as a
carriage house once existing at this location. Mackenzie Mindel moved to open

vote. Karl Green, owner of the property provided additional project details. CM
Mindel asked the owner if they have found any photos of the original carriage
house. Karl stated that he had not but has photos of the house. CM Mindel
suggested he look at the Main Public and Murphy Libraries to see if they have

Program Budget requests.

Staff reminded the Commission that all requests need to be submitted into the
process by February 15th and that they are approved or recommended by a
City Committee or Commission. Ariel Beaujot provided a presentation on
establishing the Hear, Here Program on the north side of La Crosse. Ariel is
requesting funding assistance through the Capital Budget in 2024 for one-time,
initial project costs. CM Mindel asked how the program has been funded in the
past. Ariel stated that it has Been funded through 30+ various other State and
local grants, as well as City funding. David Riel moved to close the public
hearing. Mackenzie Mindel seconded. The motion passed 5-0 by voice vote.
