The meeting was called to order at 6:02 pm.

Approval of Minutes  
Approval of the July 2, 2025 Meeting Minutes.  
Motion by Council Member Goggin, second by McDonnell to approve the July  
2, 2025 meeting minutes. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote.  
Agenda Items:  
Discussion on purpose of Commission and goals for the community.  
1.  
Staff led an exercise to prioritize the goals and priorities for the Commission.  
The Commission talked about ways to increase attendance and involvement at  
the neighborhood association meetings. Commissioners were talking about  
making meetings more informal and putting effort toward events and  
opportunities that benefit the neighborhood. There was discussion on what  
neighborhood associations are active and which ones are inactive.  
Update on the zoning/subdivision code project.

Staff provided a brief update about recent activity for the Zoning Code update  
which includes stakeholder information and community outreach promotion.  
Neighborhood Updates, Concerns, and Celebrations.  
3.  
McDonnell provided an update on National Night Out for Washburn,  
Downtown, and PPH. Geary provided an update on the Trinity Block Party on  
the Northside.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:08 pm.
