A motion was made by Janssen, seconded by Happel, to approve the minutes.
The motion carried on voice vote.
Agenda Items:
Quarterly update from The Parenting Place on ARPA-funded childcare
project.
The 3 grant programs will be presented at a future EDC meeting as more
program details are confirmed and prior to the programs being launched.
Review Annual PE-300 Reports and the performance and status of the City’s
active Tax Incremental Districts as required by Wis. Stat. § 66.1105(4m)(f).
A request was made to have the someone from the Assessment Dept attend the
next EDC meeting to provide more info and answer questions on why the TIDs
equalized values decreased in some of the City's TIDs.
Review and discussion of staff recommended Economic Development
Ordinance changes.
It was requested that staff research the TIF approval processes in another
similar municipalities. Staff requested further feedback and/or edits on the
proposed ordinance changes be provided by EDC members by Nov 9th.
