Approval of Minutes from October 6, 2022  
A motion was made by Hampson, seconded by Janssen, the be ADOPT  
ACTIONS BY SINGLE VOTE. The motion carried on voice vote.

Sarah Rafajko provided an update on where we are at with the FEMA  
violations. We have 35 violations left.  
Highlights from the Wisconsin Association of Floodplain, Stormwater,  
and Coastal Management (WAFSCM) Conference  
Sarah Rafajko provided some highlights from the WAFSCM Conference,  
specifically the projects done by the Milwaukee Metro Sewerage District to  
help them remove 4500 structures from the floodplain.  
AN ORDINANCE to repeal and recreate Chapter 115, Article V, Division 2 of  
the Code of Ordinances of the City of La Crosse regarding Floodplain Zoning.

A motion was made by Janssen, seconded by Hampson, that this Ordinance be  
RECOMMENDED TO BE ADOPTED to the Judiciary & Administration Committee.  
The motion carried by voice vote.

At the next meeting, Chair Andrea Richmond would like to talk about property  
acquisition and building new homes on vacant lots in the floodplain.  
No meeting will be held in January, tentative next meeting on February 2nd.  
Chair Andrea Richmond adjourned the meeting at 4:33 PM.
