Council Member Recognition  
Mayor Reynolds acknowledged Council Members Richmond and Neumeister for their  
service. A video was shown of others thanking Richmond and Neumeister for their  
service and wished them well in the future. Both Council Members were presented  
keys to the City by the Mayor. Council Member Richmond and Neumeister shared their  
thoughts on their time serving on the Council and thanked their constituents and staff  
for their hard work over and commitment over the years.  
Notices and Discussions  
CM Hameister thanked Richmond and Neumeister and acknowledge those who have  
lost their lives due to gun violence in 2023. Mayor Reynolds recognized the staff  
members who have attended some of the recent State budget public hearings in  
attempts to change the model of state revenue allocation so there is a more  
sustainable model for municipalities across the state - Schott and Lorenz were in Eau  
Claire on Tuesday, and Reynolds in Dells on Wednesday. Mayor Reynolds mentioned  
hosting Senator Baldwin who visited the Community Resource Unit and he also  
recognized the police department and honored the police officers who lost their lives in  
Barron County.
