Motion by Commissioner Frantz to accept and file the May, 2023 Police  
Personnel Report. Motion seconded by Commissioner Nasif. Unanimous  
approval.  
A. Appointment of the following to the position of probationary Police Officer:  
1. Daniel Godding  
2. Max Grode  
3. Ryan Schumacher  
Motion by Commissioner Nasif to approve the appointment of Daniel Godding,  
Max Grode, and Ryan Schumacher to the position of probationary Police  
Officer. Motion seconded by Commissioner Frantz. Unanimous approval.  
B. Scheduling Special Meeting for new officer approval  
Commissioners present agreed to meet May 25, 2023 at 9 a.m.  
C. Scheduling Police Officer interviews for the July and November recruitment  
processes to follow the Commission's monthly meeting  
The Commission agreed to schedule Police Officer interviews following the July 19 and  
November 15, 2023 meetings for up to 6 candidates.  
D. Annual La Crosse Police Department Awards/Recognition Ceremony

Motion by Commissioner Frantz to approve the promotions of Captain Blane  
Neher and Captain Lance Tryggestad to the rank of Battalion Chief. Motion  
seconded by Commissioner Nasif. Unanimous approval.  
B. Promotion of the following to the rank of Lieutenant  
1. Adam Hutson  
2. Cody Allen  
Motion by Commissioner Frantz to approve the promotions of Adam Hutson  
and Cody Allen to the rank of Lieutenant. Motion seconded by Commissioner
