Notices and Discussions  
CM Schwarz invited all to the first annual Ho Chunk Nation Founders Day Pow Wow,  
which will be taking place at the La Crosse Center on Saturday, March 30th.  
Mayor Reynolds noted that he took part in the Annual Polar Plunge fundraiser for  
Special Olympics on March 2, which was originally started by Kerry Gloede; this year  
there were 436 plungers and over $110,000 was raised, which exceeded the original  
fundraising goals. Reynolds thanked all involved, including those who donated.  
Reynolds noted that he was in Washington DC the week of March 4th representing the  
Mississippi Rivers and Towns Initiative regarding issues that impact our community -  
flooding, drought resistance, and plastics pollution. He reminded the community to fill  
out Housing Survey on City website. This week he joined Governor Evers in a visit to  
the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant. Mayor Reynolds also noted that Saturday,  
March 16, is the Irishfest Parade; the Hunger Task Force will be accepting donations  
along route. The City Brush Site will reopen on March 25. Reynolds welcomed  
Representative Oldenburg (96th Assembly District), who now represents the southern  
portion of the City with the redrawn Assembly and Senate districts.  
CM Sleznikow noted that the City is in the process of updating Bicycle and Pedestrian  
Master Plan and there will be an open house on March 26 at the Southside  
Neighborhood Center.  
CM Goggin encouraged the community to fill out the ADRC survey regarding services  
for seniors.
