This meeting was called to order at 8:30 AM.

A motion was made by Young, seconded by Pataska to adopt the February  
13th, 2024 meeting minutes. Voice vote carried unanimously.  
Agenda Items:  
Update on WIS 35 Corridor Study Public Involvement Meeting.

Attachments:  
Michelle from WI DOT provided updates on the WIS 35 Corridor Study.  
The study limits are 4.8 miles from HWY 14/61 to HWY 35. Focusing on the  
following,  
- Safety Improvements  
- Traffic Operating Improvements  
- Multimodal Improvements  
- Pavement Replacement  
- Bridge Maintenance  
The timeline is 01/2024-02/2025 study corridor, 03/2025-12/2026 roadway design,  
2027 start construction. The study found within this corridor there were 34  
bicycle crashes and 26 pedestrian crashes from 2015-2019. Potential spot  
improvements to consider are,  
- Raised Crosswalks  
- Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon  
- Raised Intersections  
- Angled Median Cut Through  
There will be a public hearing held in November of 2024.  
Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan Update and Word Session - ALTA

Attachments:  
ALTA is having an open house March 03/26/2024 at the Southside Community  
Center. The timeline for March and April of 2024 is as follows,  
- Whole Network Prioritization  
- Cost Estimates and Implementation  
- Full Draft Plan  
Resolution regarding sidewalk installation on 27th, 28th & 29th Street between  
Robinsdale Avenue and Diagonal Road.

Young motioned to recommend to deny this resolution for the following  
reasons.  
- Adopted in the Bike/Ped MAster Plan of 2012  
- Adopted in 21-1276 on 10/04/2021  
- Adopted in Climate Action Plan  
Boldon seconded Youngs recommendation. Voice vote carried unanimously.
