Agenda Items:
Nate Hundt - transition age youth 18-21 years old and awareness of that
process
Nate Hundt spoke to the committee about bringing awareness to the transition
process and prime transition age. 18-21 years of age is the prime transition
age. The earlier you start planning this transition process the better off the
individual will be for post high school graduation. Age 18 is where the choice
of funding and choice of guardianship occur. This is knowledge the CCD
should be educated about and can play in an important role for advocating.

The committee should become more educated about CIE and 14c.
APS and PROWAG update
There are 8 signals within the City with APS. Funding has been requested from
the state to equip all state connecting highway signals with APS.
The City will officially adopt PROWAG on Thursday April 11th at Council.
Discussion of resolution presented at J&A regarding sidewalk on 27th,
28th, and 29th streets
The CCD was not represented well at F&P. Jeff made the comment that he felt
disgusted by the comments made about people with disabilities. Public
comment should be random and not stacked in one sides favor and should be
open for rebuttal.
Council meeting April 11th will have final vote to approve or deny the
resolution.
