In an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19, the Room Tax Commission meeting was  
conducted through video conferencing and available for public viewing at the following link:

Members of the public who wished to speak on an agenda item were asked to contact the

Meeting called to order by Commissioner Delagrave at 4:00 p.m.

Approval of Minutes  
Minutes of September 3, 2020 meeting.  
Motion by Commissioner Weaver to approve the minutes of the September 3,  
2020 meeting. Motion seconded by Commissioner Weber. Vote: Yes -  
Delagrave, Weber, Weaver; Duresky abstained

Election of Officers

Commissioner Delagrave asked for nominations for the office of Chairperson.  
Nomination of Commissioner Weaver by Commissioner Duresky. Second by  
Commissioner Delagrave. Unanimous approval.  
Commissioner Delagrave turned the meeting over to Commissioner Weaver.  
Commissioner Weaver asked for nominations for the office of Vice Chair.  
Commissioner Delagrave nominated Commissioner Weber for the office of  
Vice Chair. Seconded by Commissioner Duresky. Unanimous approval.

La Crosse Center Budget Report for 2021 and 2022  
Presented by: Art Fahey, Director of the La Crosse Center  
DISCUSSION:  
-New expanded building will be online for 2022  
-The Center received some grants this year and looking into 2022.  
-Wedding and corporate business picking up. Conventions look strong. Concerts  
slow to pick up.  
Motion by Commissioner Delagrave to accept and file the report. Motion  
seconded by Commissioner Duresky. Unanimous approval.  
Motion by Commissioner Delagrave to approve the 2022 budget for the La  
Crosse Center. Motion seconded by Commissioner Duresky. Unanimous  
approval.  
Explore La Crosse Budget Report for 2021 and 2022

DISCUSSION:  
-shared details of 2021 year-to-date budget report, forecast for the remainder of 2021,  
and proposed budget for 2022  
Motion by Commissioner Duresky to accept and file the report. Motion  
seconded by Commissioner Weber. Unanimous approval.  
Motion by Commissioner Duresky to approve the 2022 budget for the La Crosse  
Center. Motion seconded by Commissioner Weber. Unanimous approval.
