Approval of Minutes
Motion made by Doug Happel to approve the minutes from the 10/21/2021
meeting. Seconded by Andrea Richmond. Motion carried 3-0 (Valerie Fenske
had not yet joined the meeting).
Proposal to fund comprehensive annual public safety physicals by Life
Extension Clinics, Inc. d/b/a Life Scan Wellness Centers, for sworn police and
firefighters.positions.
Motion made by Doug Happel to bring item to floor for discussion, seconded by
Andrea Richmond. Motion was made to withdraw the item. This was passed
4-0. A new motion was proposed by Stephen Matty as follows: To create an
HSA for each eligible employee in the amount of $650 for the 2022 calendar
year. Doug Happel made a motion to refer this for up to 30 days or less if
possible. Motion passed 4-0.
Proposal to fund the online platform/app, Motion Connected, for employees
participating in the La Crosse 1856 wellness program.
Proposal defeated due to lack of motion to approve.
Updated proposal from staff regarding insurance consultant
recommendations
Motion made by Doug Happel to approve, seconded by Valerie Fenske. Motion
passed 4-0.
