- City staff is in the process of collecting data on its vehicle fleet for the Climate Action Plan, Energy Action Report EV implementation, and Drive Clean Rural EV program.
- La Crescent is working on an ordinance to include infrastructure for EV charges on multi-family buildings. It wouldn't require the installation of chargers, just the capacity for the building owner to install them more easily at a future date.
- Xcel can send postcards encouraging residents to sign up for Focus on Energy’s savings packs. They'd also be encouraged to comment on the Climate Action Plan draft.
- The La Crosse Pulblic Library has watt meters to check out; other communities have developed informational materials on how to get the most out of them.
