Request for letter of support for La Crescent's Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Grant.

Jason Ludwigson has been working with Brandon Knudtson from Hilltopper Recycling in Onalaska to prepare a grant application to the MPCA to study the feasibility for a commercial compost facility to serve southeastern MN and southwestern WI. The feasibility study would look for some of the following - sites for the facility, cost to staff and equip the facility, how to sustainably fund and operate the facility, etc. This would be a planned public/private partnership. The application deadline is November 15th at 4 p.m. cst. if I can help provide any additional information, please let me know.
